The New WOZ Office (parent company Wozwet.nl) approached us after the success of Wozwet.nl whether we also wanted to create a new corporate identity and website for HNWB. The new corporate identity should provide an accessible, friendly yet professional feel. The website was primarily intended to attract new talent, to inform and to encourage visitors to do a free WOZ check. Finally, HNWB also wanted to give the team behind the success a place and delve deeper into white label and affiliate opportunities.
“Time for a brainstorming session!”
Sometimes a short brainstorm is all it takes. This was also the case for HNWB. After a short brainstorm, we knew enough: HNWB's brand had to appear approachable, friendly but professional.
First, we were involved in developing a corporate identity for HNWB. HNWB started out as Riverside Law and Taxation. At the time, Riverside had a logo with a stylized bird of prey as its logo. However, a bird of prey is not the friendliest bird, so we soon gave the advice to switch to a friendlier bird, a sparrow. We developed a sleek and modern logo with a sparrow as the logo. We then opted for a color palette with blue colors, which created a nice link to the sky/sky. To give HNWB's corporate identity a friendly look, we also opted for round shapes. We selected two “rounded” fonts: Circle Rounded for the logo and Museo Sans Rounded for headlines and punctuation. Finally, we also gave arrows, buttons and content blocks circular shapes. Time for step two: The website!
To make the website development process as smooth and fast as possible, we first put our heads together to create a wireframe. Among other things, we thought about the correct flow of the website, the main message (CTA) and which pages would provide a logical whole. We soon noticed that we were able to make HNWB attractive to new talent by using a lot of photography from the HNWB team. The photos depict a friendly and collegial company culture. This is exactly what the first target group (new talent) was looking for. Of course, the website also had to provide leads. We did this by implementing “Do the free WOZ check” as the main message. We chose to inform the target group in a short but powerful way. We did this by providing the entire website with short 'scannable' content. Think of short headings, open menus (accordions) and lots of visualization.
After the wireframe, we were able to get started with the most fun step of the project: making a design mockup. Finally, we were able to try out the corporate identity we had come up with. We quickly saw that, with all the elements together, a modern, sleek and friendly-looking brand was created. HNWB's new photography was a perfect fit for this brand. All the more reason to go directly to the next step: Webflow development.
It took us less than two days to convert the design mockup into a functioning Webflow website. However, the website still felt a bit static. This was easy to fix by adding subtle animations. We took the time to create smooth animations for loading the page, mobile menu, and loading elements into sections.
All in all, we created the new corporate identity and website for HNWB in less than three weeks.
In addition to the years of cooperation for our commercial brands, this time we also had the BrandBros take care of our corporate brand. The result? Our company exudes exactly what we want to convey and conveys well what we do, who we are and what we stand for. In doing so, we make a lasting positive impression on our stakeholders and applicants know how to find us better.
